Bucky: So I've been studying this diet food bag and I think I have a case for a class action lawsuit against purrfect chow technologies co, LLC.... Look... Right here on the bag it says "delicious! your cat will love it!" Satchel: So? Bucky: So I didn't love it! Are you saying you can claim anything to sell a product? Satchel: I don't think they meant it quite so literally... Bucky: You want to know what is literal? This is literally the worst case of false advertising since chunky monkey ice cream.

Bucky has a good point. Girl Scout cookies aren’t made out of girl scouts, and baby oil isn’t made out of babies.

I’ve eaten a lot of “Cherry Garcia” over the years and never even caught a buzz. “What a long, strange trip it’s been.”

What seems to be a real one. Hedgehog Foods, the makers of Hedgehog Flavoured Crisps (Potato Chips) were taken to court for false advertising. After ascertaining the flavour of hedgehog from Gypsies, they recreated it as near as possible, changed the name to Hedgehog Flavour Crisps, and everyone was satisfied.

“Chunky Monkey” is not false advertising. In fact, I think it’s exemplary for its candid portrayal of its customer base right on the label. If you eat it regularly, you either are or will soon become a chunky monkey.
