Bucky: You wanna read my new autobiography's first chapter? It's almost done. Rob: Uhhh... Sure. You're the highest ranking member in "catsa"? What's "catsa"? Bucky: the high IQ club for cats. Rob: Couldn't you guys think of a more original name than just ripping off "mensa"? Bucky: Huh? How does....? Aw, fumbles!

Whatever happened to Densa? If only there were some electronic way to find out.

Bad fumble, Bucky. Clearly it was “Mensa” who ripped off “Catsa”. Who’s been around longer?

Trivia: In Spanish (more specifically, in Mexican Spanish) mensa means a woman who is silly or stupid. (Menso means “stupid” or “silly”, but it’s a male noun. Mensa is the female counterpart).

From: http://www.globalanimal.org/2013/03/24/animal-iqs-which-is-the-smartest-animal/26219/ …“Dogs vs. Cats: Dogs are smarter. This research probably won’t settle the age-old rivalry between dog and cat owners, but it does come with an Oxford pedigree. Scientists at the prestigious British university say canines are definitively more intelligent than cats. Their reasoning is simple: Dogs are more social animals, so they’ve developed bigger brains than their feline counterparts. Man’s best friend, in addition to always being in a good mood, can recognize images of itself and pick up nonverbal cues.”…though I love ’em both.

I don’t know if mine got any wiser as she got older. She would wander off probably thinking that she’s old enough to do as she darn well pleased. By that time she was deaf enough we worried if she could hear us. I’m sure dementia had a lot to do with it as well which made us concerned if she knew her way home.

Dogs pull sleds hundreds of miles, cats won’t. And dogs are smarter?
