Have Satchel recite the alphabet and you can channel surf.

I don’t have popup ads, don’t do anything special to eliminate them.

I’ve found the following gets round this problem; mentioned here in case it helps others too:1. Scroll down the page using the scroll bar or mouse wheel, so that the original strip moves up and just out of sight, until all you can see at the top of the scroll area is the underlying panel (the one that says “SHARE ADD TO MYCOMICS…etc.”.2.Click the magnifying glass icon on that panel.3. The enlarged comic should now appear unobscured by any ad. The annoying video may still partially be seen above the comic, so just scroll down a bit more until the enlarged comic is at the top of the frame, and the video is pushed right out of sight.
