On April 1, 2005, “Fox Trot,” “Pearls Before Swine” and “Get Fuzzy” ran coordinated strips with essentially the same gag, which is what this strip was originally. That apparently confused some readers of comics.
Darby Conley can incorporate whatever gags he likes into his strips. That’s his choice. But for my money, I could do without any story line that incorporates spiritually incorrect things like Ouija boards.
