For a cat who coins such great verbal metaphors to be utterly indifferent to the use of metaphor in writing is – - – let’s call it mysterious. He is a cat, after all.

Some individuals have a separation, nay, a wall, between the speaking control and symbol control areas of the brain. The great writers and speakers had no such barriers.

Must have a super high gloss on that vase to reflect all that stuff!

He forgot the reflection of Pinkish leaving the bathroom and Satchel projectile vomiting the “thing” he just found in the road!

Bucky did you leave the door open on the refrigerator ?

Bucky is left-pawed!

Bucky’s a southpaw!

Is it blinking? Pinkish may need a new filter.

… then Satchel added a rose and it’s breath taker?? Hey I’m a lefty and it rhymes!!

I can imagine Eddie Allan Poet looking like Bucky in panel 2 as he composed “The Raven”. Nevermore!

Bucky’s “poetry” is very literal.

The “With blends like these” strip and this one are my Get Fuzzy favorites.

I was expecting him to just knock it over, but he is really impressing me with his focus on actual writing.
