Hilarious, but I’m surprised it got past the censors.

When I was more seriously into collecting CDs from Taiwan, I came across a compilation album entitled “Let’s Folk”. Knowing what I do about the sense of humor behind some of those Chinese songs, I’m sure they knew exactly what they were doing.

Not sure if the Mamas & Papas were considered Folk, but I definitely could see Satchel as a Mama Cass groupie …

I’d be happy to be told “You folk”. It’s a compliment to imply that I’m attractive enough to make people want to folk me.

In some accents it works even better: in Spanish, for instance, it would not take anything near the eight seconds…

Now that’s it…you’ve all got me “jazzed” or maybe “jazzed up” or “jazzed off”…what ever!

A group out here advertises as the most carefully pronounced name in show business: The Mother Folkers.

What I find hilarious is that no one commented on the replacement of “sucked” with “techno-ed.” Apparently it’s such a universal opinion that techno sucks that no one even remarked, or registered, the substitution.

There is no way that Bucky was not justified in doing what he did. Satchel just took doofus to new heights. Plus he insulted Bucky like that. For shame.
