My dog knows exactly what to do with a stuffed animal. They are less scary spread across the floor in a bazillion pieces.

Lot of truth in that. A few years ago, there was a store in a small tourist town about two hours northwest of Los Angeles. It claimed to sell Christmas-related merchandise. But literally all there was on their shelves were either Santa Claus dolls with faces expressing rage or elf/troll dolls that were either crying or looking like they wanted to kill you. Most notably, hanging on the wall there was that now viral picture of a boy around seven years or so in a cemetery. He’s bawling his eyes out while he is looking at a headstone that said, “Santa Claus, Died 2000”.

Our granddog is afraid of toy trains. This may be because of when he lived in Chicago he was terrified of the El.

Satchel gets his own room, while Bucky sleeps in a closet. Love it!
