Things that are dead and moldy don’’t fight back That’s why we eat them.

A few months back I purchased a small, but expensive, wedge of gorgonzola cheese. It was still before it’s “sell by” date, but it had turned rancid. I think it wasn’t stored properly at the grocery store. They gladly reimbursed me without my having to bring the package back. I’m sure Satchel would have eaten it, but I bet he would be sick like he is today.

Bucky gave a Satch a dressing down.

Looks like Satchel is following Poncho’s Golden Rule; if it’s small enough to fit in your mouth, it’s edible!

The French don’t eat clowns. They taste funny.

The first two panels are hilarious.

The wall colors must be synchronized with Satchel’s wonky tummy.

I love the line “so are clowns and puppets, but you’re not supposed to eat ’em”

That seems like a paraphrase of a line from the novel “Catcher in the Rye”: “Sarcasm is the criticism of the weak.”

I like when Satchel is outside playing “Food or not food.”

Poor Satch. He started out with a belly ache and now his head probably hurts too.

Bucky, blue cheese is good. Extra chunky blue cheese salad dressing is the best, although I still add blue cheese crumbles.

Love the way Darby’s thoughts stumble along their comical paths, ricocheting all the way to make me snicker-think …!

The key being what color the mold is.

Nobody tell Bucky that cheese is gone-off milk with bugs and mold.
