You can plug a sofa in. I haven’t read all the posts, but several furniture stores have ads that come with my Sunday paper and sometimes Wednesday, and on the pages that might otherwise have news. While I’ve never bought one, you can get a sofa with lights, the ability to charge a phone, and other features that require electricity.
