I’ve had 2 cats that fetched, and in both cases it was a game they taught me to play their way

Cats may fetch but on their own terms, not yours!

I had a cat that I would roll a marble to across the kitchen floor, and he would bat it back to me.

One of my cats that fetched also played with a toy car in the kitchen when he was a kitten

That would be Boots, my avatar cat, he’s too smart
