I guess Milford must be where Chicago Cubs recruit cent-percent of their players!

    What does cent-percent mean?

I’m guessing prasrinivara meant to type “100-percent”. “cent” is French for “hundred”, so maybe French is prasrinivara’s native language, or at least more so than English? (Although I wouldn’t think so with a screen name like that. I’d guess some Indian language or dialect.)

Or maybe it was just a simple brain glitch.

No CoBass–French is not my native language (though I can speak both Parisien and Montréalois dialects of it fluently); “cent-percent” is a typical Subcontinental usage.

Looked up the definition - it does mean 100%, it’s an old Indian English term (as in India, not Native American). Well, that’s something new I learned for today, assumed it was some typo.

Or you can use the Italian “Cento Per Cento” (100 of 100). Three runs puts the score out of reach? Not if it’s in the early innings!
