@davidblack you are correct sir. Al Jo is hard to look at. By the way, why does she need plasma? Does she have a rare blood disorder? Or did she get confused when Coach Alcala told her that she used to sell her plasma back at Elon so she could afford quality cocaine.

Really? Her mom uses both names, Alison Joan, and this evolved into Al-Jo? She’s not Ali, or heaven forbid just Alison? Beyond stupid.

I see a showdown in the near future b/t modern girl from Elon and 60s girl (Berkeley?) who both know what is right for Al-Jo.

Finally they bring in a love interest for Steve (his own age) that will convince him to go back to school (without a mop in his hand).

so, what malady is Al Jo’s? AIDS? Hemophilia? Chronic Fatigue? Cancer ?

I was thinking the ‘plasma, IV’ was a joke. Just a way of saying she’s too tired to eat, so get the nutrients in a different way.

“Get me the plasma, IV.” Clearly, she is addressing Ivy (nickednamed “IV”) her live-in homeopathic nurse.
