That’s a pretty strange action in P3 accompanying the conversation, the artist couldn’t resist getting a big hand in the foreground. Pretty insensitive of Molly to wave that left hand in front of poor Steve like that.

Can’t seem to help noticing Molly’s hair. Today she has a totally different style from the first panel to the third. Did she pull out a comb while breaking Steve’s heart? Also, is Gil a witness to all this, or did he quietly slip away?

now Molly reveals she is actually Steve’s long lost transgendered brother.

Kudos to Neal Rubin for avoiding the obvious Steve takes up one-handed golf and is suddenly his old self ending. Instead Molly tears Steve a new one for feeling sorry for himself, and he turns his life around and becomes an MHS assistant football coach.

Steve looks like he’s begging for alms in P2.

P! – Wow, for someone so depressed and full of self-pity he sure had no problem asking her out.P3 – Exploding ear syndrome! Does anyone else get the feeling that Molly is really talking to us, not Steve? I think it’s a warning from the writers for us to lay off Steve.

Although I don’t think Molly is coming out (as @tedybgame suggests), she will turn to say: (1) she only dates winners who golf with one arm, (2) she only dates guys without arms IF they are clean shaven, or (3) she hates his guts. This is the second person (Thor P being the other) who has been cruel to Steve at the MCC. Time for him to find a new place to hang out.

Molly only dates shampoo commercial directors, it’s obvious.

After learning to drive the ball from Kenny last year, Molly’s a pro, ready to teach Steve. I guess teaching him some self confidence will be the real lesson.

I’m with “Have Mop” on the P3 interpetation. I might have to go to counseling and get some things right after seeing that accusing finger pointed at me.

I’m really confused now. Molly appears to be a different girl altogether from panel one to panel three so maybe it is a different girl? How can one explain the look she’s giving him in panel one which clearly says “I want you big boy” to panel three “you have already done something terrible to me in the past and now you’re going to pay for it.” I don’t get it.

In P2, Steve looks like he’s about to puke. Maybe Molly wants Steve to take up golf so she can spend the rest of her summer at MCC holding Steve’s bag.

Can’t you see it coming? She’s already dating a guy with some missing parts.
