Paul Dillon gets a K to end the game, preserve the no no, GilPa invites the team over for a pool party with pizza and mojitoes. Molly Kinsella, Cyndy Canty, Angie Sanchez and Shelby Porter serve pizza pies wearing the boxes. Pedro and Mimi are pissed that Gil invited the team. The Tiki torches are lit as Don Ho croons.
Looks like the majority was wrong, the original suspicion (Lucky blows it) came true. A great outcome would be that the next batter walks and then a 3-run bomb beats Milford and knocks them out of the playdowns. But more likely Lucky makes a great play to save the game and no-hitter.Regardless, for a more realistic storyline, let’s go back to Mopped Up Thorp.
Whatever announcer first called a no-hitter a no-no should be tarred and feathered. Probably the same person who decided an infield hit was a “swinging bunt,” which makes absolutely no sense.
In all reality, Luckys hand responds Lets Regroup and proceeds to choke Lucky requiring Gil to substitute for Lucky. Gil ponders putting Amy who has stolen Luckys mofo in.
In all reality, I meant MOJO . Or in the alternative reality, did Lucky make a perfect throw for the third out but Marty who has the DTs imagines todays strip ?
Ellisburkes, I’m older and can top that one. In the Sunset of hos career, “Buckeye Joe” Sparma was in the minors. Perfect game. Walks bases loaded, two outs, Joe throws so hard the ball went over the umpires head and hits the backstop. Joe rushes the plate, the runner on third takes off, ball hits backstop so hard it bounces to Sparma, who makes the tag and saves the NO hitter.
Back in the 50s, “Sad Sam” Jones of the Cubs had a no-hitter going. As I recall he walked the bases full in the ninth then got his three outs, Cubs won 3-0, but the manger would have pulled Jones if he walked in a run.

Everybody’s pretty darn cheerful for some reason. Marty’s the only one who seems to care.

No-no means no runs, no hits. Still irritating. Guess they could say no2.
