Yeah! I figured yesterday that the problem was he was overthrowing because of knowing he was now being scouted. I’m good enough to coach! Of course compared to Gil and his staff, my 5 year old nephew is good enough to coach. And speaking of good enough, here’s today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Hope is on the horizon. If Tru knows he can do X, he tries to elevate to Y. If Boo is X, he’s hitting some keys and looking for some Flash Mob time with a team mate’s sister. Push yourself, Tru. You might be wild and miss the plate but you still have three other bases. If you know what I mean…
The only logical way to interpret Gil’s “first off” is that True is trying to throw a little harder than before so that if he’s ever clocked again, he’ll hit 95. Because pretty sure he has no way of knowing how fast he’s throwing in practice.

Double Lobster Boys in P2 as Gil goes in for the crotch grab.
Gil coaching him up in P3. Unfortunately Coach, you’re the one who told Tru what the scouts said.

How much WHUD WHUD a WHUDchuck chuck if a WHUDchuck could chuck WHUD?
Can we move this story along? It’s damn near the 4th of July and these kids aren’t close to the end of the season yet.

Any chance Gil and Mimi are going to the Mystic Pranks concert?

It’s not out of line, really, Starfish. The local HS baseball and softball tournaments just got under way this past week. (Go Indians!)

P3- GilPa looks zombie-like. You are in my trance young True. To the showers to rid you of that reeking.

Rub-Ham must have accidentally remembered that Gil is supposed to coach

Tru(e) was going to hit I-95 for a quick trip to Hawaii, but how did Gil know that?

I had to choke back my coffee as well. If Gil actually starts coaching in this strip, well there’s just no telling what might happen.
