In all reality, " Oh the camera man , he has an early flight back to Hollywood . Want to celebrate at the Notell Motel just like in the old days , come on Gill." However , in all reality the camera guy is setting up hidden cameras at the motel for filming the final episode .

It was exactly a year ago today that the last football-only strip appeared, the aftermath of the State Championship win (23-21 over Pius XI). The December 16 strip was when True told Gil he was coming out for hoops. So even with the playoffs (playdowns), last year’s football season took just as long as this dreadfully slow one without post-season play.
Two big questions in my mind: Will Gil allow True to play basketball this year since he isn’t tired out from having played a lot of football? Will MImi actually coach this year — she didn’t appear last season — or will Mop took over?
I just thought of one that’s going way back. Any of you remember a toy called ‘Mr. Machine’? that has to go back to about 1960 or sooner. I’m 60 and can barely remember commercials on TV for it.
