Posted this Monday night and repeating for Gil fans who weren’t still checking. Late-breaking news: Wake Forest says quarterback Kendall Hinton will miss two to four weeks with a sprained left knee.
If only True had made it to school on time, he could be starting this weekend.
In all reality , perhaps Gil should in P 2 should have answered in " old school" and said Archer will be calling the signals with Shuford and Hawkins toting the pigskin and sticky fingered Barry Bader will be playing receiver .
Of course the offense is sputtering. With baseball season lasting into the start of the ‘16-’17 school year, these guys haven’t had a chance to practice.
I’m not a high paid coach like Gil, but when the offense sputters, you might try putting some blockers up front. That open line approach can just be a disaster in this modern football age.
Nice to see Dr. Pearl taking a break from canning jams and jellies. Skill is required so an Evenflow is distributed in the mason jar. Tod Andrews Oaks defense playing stoutly. Did GilPa forget about the shifty, speedy Max Ortiz snagging scoring strikes? I shudder to surmise.
Please don’t make it a convenient injury to Archer. We need some real controversy to this QB situation. Dr.Pearl actually listened to the Moon broadcast? Really not much to do in Milford.
P-1: Dr. Pearl wants Gil to be brutally honestP-2 That’s Hakeem Al Archer stolen er recruited away from Sherwood High; Austin (Powers) and Nick (Danger) at RB. What could go wrong?P-3: With no one blocking, the offense sputters. Really?!! Milford needs a tune-up and oil change Moose Penzoil-iki to the rescue after all three designated QBs go down to the Oakwood Ogres. Heather will have her hands full and still be relied upon to “tape an ankle or two, boys; you’ve got to tape an ankle or two”. That’s right, just like Oliver, I’d like some more, please.
A unique way for Gil to list off the starting players for the season. Although only the QB and RBs, not very thorough this time. Not sure why he is staring at us instead of Pearl while he replies. And speaking of staring, you can stare at today’s Mopped Up Thorp all day, that won’t make it any better.

Wow, fifteen days since the lemonade on the deck and we have gridiron game action! In P1 does she mean how much of it was Standish?

The opener? We didn’t even get a bonfire this year? I thought the baseball team would have been eager to burn their bats by then.

Gil’s credibility problem is painful to witness in p1.

Gil’s smug look in P2 tells us Pelwecki won’t be a secret for long.

They started without having the annual bonfire? They had some extra fuel in all the Little Free Library books this year too.
