In all reality , Pete " Gone With " De Windt didn’t tell us he hurt himself on that big block against George Jefferson , he’s paralyzed ! Gill " Oh well ,Next man or lady up !"
Gil hasn’t spent this much time coaching in years. I guess the Dear Superintendent must have run an audit on how the teachers at Milford spend their time.
Moose has graduated from chip bags to actual footballs. Must be working, he’s moved all the way up to 5th string.
I knew somebody got hurt on that block but it looked like the blockee got the worst of the hit. Guess not.
P1- Still not putting the ball on the far hip. P2- Good to know GilPa took his Geritol spitting out that witticism. P3- Losing De Windt could be stifling. With Breck Darwin filling in for Pete, there would be no Split Endz. Apologies to Ellis.
What happened this year? Gil has never been at so many practices and games. Who is he trying to impress, some colleges looking for coaches? And speaking of trying to impress, impress your friends and family by letting them know that you read today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Now that I think about it, Pete De Windt’s head disappeared when he was making that block, as if he jammed his head into his body. I bet he really did hurt himself.
P1: 2 developments – shower pics from Hite Over Night & from the Life of Rielly – "What a revoltin developement this is. P-2: The Thorpians show their intellectual capacity as Ellisburkes and dutchpuupy lead discussion on String Theory. P-3: De Windt’s hurt; OK Moose make that 4th string
How many guys are dressing out if they have a fifth string quarterback? I hope Gil doesn’t have them on the team for shower purposes only. Assistant OC Holly will be pushing guys down the stairs to get her pupil a stating gig before the season is over.

It’s a bad sign when the trainer is using the royal third person, I guess everyone’s egos are still a little inflated from that state championship.

So he’s questionable in Week 4? I need to know if I have to pickup the Tilden TE to fill in for De Windt spot on my fantasy football roster.

So the big block truly did Break De Windt? I apologize for plagiarizing someone’s comment from months ago, but I thought it was worth repeating.

The Hockey Coach for Central City wanted Pete to join the rush as a late third entry. He called the play DeWindt beneath my wings

Wow I’ve never seen any one who could throw a Frisbee in the position that one in panel two is in. Must have a heck of a strong arm.
