It seems pretty clear Aaron is under the influence of gamblers to shave points or even throw games. Against Valley Tech he will be able to play his real game. Maybe there’s no betting line.
P1, Damn, Gil, where’s your arse? Kaz must have broken his right arm somewhere along the line. Must have slipped in the shower. And, it was so nice of Neal and Rob to leave Mop Man with a blank word balloon, too. Can’t wait to see what he does with it.
It’s nice that A Quad tells the coaches in advance that he won’t be worth a damn. Is that because mom and/or Molly only show up every other game? Or is he only on molly every other game.
I wonder if Gil ever thought that A Quad being 6’7" and only weighing about 100 pounds might need to spend some time in the weight room. Or maybe that whole run-down apartment thing means he doesn’t get enough to eat which would explain the apple trick. Those apples might be his only meal some days.
“He gave me the most bizarre answer, implying he would suck in our next game, but do great in the one after that. I was really confused so I did not ask him even one question about it.”
“Good idea, now we can just dwell on it for two more weeks without getting to the bottom of his problem.”
And speaking of bottoms, Mopped Up Thorp is not yet at the bottom of the barrel, but it’s getting there.

Why didn’t Gil ask about this cryptic comment? The SECOND game? Gotta figure this out…

Kid in p1 can’t decide whether to carry his books like a boy or like a girl.

How did Aaron take it when you told him he had to shower? P3- Barnabas Collins joins The Fist Pump Family and lurks nearby.

That’s one steep ramp in P1. The student with the roller wheel shoes is just coasting down it.

P-1: Gil’s being brutally honest. A Quad is good one game bad the next (even/oddly).
P-2: Apparently, A Quad has a doppelganger or evil twin who Mom let’s out on an alternating week basis.
P-3: 1950’s product endorsement: he’s not your Standard kid, he uses Good Gulf to get that extra kick
