Holy cow, I get to be the first to comment for once. I’m never online when the strip first appears. This feels so….so….well, no different than usual. Other than I know I’m not copying anyone else’s comments.
P1 – Nice of everyone to give them space while they “console” each other. Or whatever.
P2 – Holy crap, is he implying what I think he’s implying?
P3 – This must be the afterglow following them making each other “feel better”.
As the kids soak up the Bucket atmosphere in the corner booth, a 22 year old busboy named Dinny Perez meekly goes about his business. He revels in the glory days of being Bobby Ottewill’s sidekick with warning track power. Occasionally, he sees Darby Kiser and her 150lb. six year old Jaxon when they stop in for the Wednesday all you can eat soup & salad bar. As Perez makes his way to the sink, 2nd shift cook with the nametag Big Bob Stuff rings the bell and bellows “order up!” Milford is not a land of cheap pool boy labor, peacocks, Shamrock Shakes and dingers for all.
Has GoComics ‘done’ something new to the comments? My PC is doing weird stuff when I try to open the ‘reply’ button to read those. Jumps to another panel.
I wonder if the Washington Capitals went out for milkshakes after losing game 7 last night. Again. New slogan, Playing golf before Mothers Day since 1974. Wait ’til next year.
The girls lose a close one and Smooth Jimmy The Shot Putter makes his move. After a costume change for all, it’s off to The Bucket for a rousing round of milkshakes and pickup lines.
P 3 — "There was me, that is Jimmy, and my three droogs, that is Gary, Carrie, and DoubleD, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence. "

If you swapped panels 1 and 2 it would look like Caruso was suggesting the girls make out.

Where can I find one of the L.A. Chargers shirts that has the bolts on the sleeves show when you wear it inside out and backwards like in P2?

P-1: A close loss results in the pitching coach strangling the pitcher. Tough team.
P-2: Is this a re-run of Happy Days or a Mickey Rooney movie: “Andy Hardy Goes to Milford”
With the Shot Putter thinking he’s making headway, the Shakes aren’t the only thing that’s thick here.

I see the site will be down for a hardware upgrade. Any chance of upgrading Gil Thorp while they’re at it?
