Nice move by Gil having the team scrimmage a Pee Wee League team to give his newcomers confidence before the big opener.
Fire up, dude? I didn’t think The Valley was so progresive as to let the kids smoke weed after practice. Is Rickey Williams the commisioner?
Are Rick(ey) and his Uncle Tonoose some kind of evangelical preachers and they’re doing an old time tent revival out behind the Elks Club? They must be trying to land a Sunday morning TV show.
Ricky looks like character actor Michael Pollard did back in the 60’s when he guest appeared on Star Trek and the Andy Griffith Show. I thought that the first day he showed up in this but I couldn’t remember the actor’s name.
t-car. Thanks for the hometown team support Saturday. It was an absolute zoo around the stadium, sunshine, humidity, black wardrobe, drinks flowing freely, people shoulder blocking others without an excuse me. Don’t get me started on the security line for admittance. I bugged out and caught the game in the best seat in the house. Watching Petrino go Tomato Face, barking at the Line Judge over a call, history shows when he has done this in the past, his teams falter. Clemson is built again for the playdowns, err, playoffs.

If Rick Soto spends practice blocking players half his size whose pants are falling down, he’s bound to have a good day.

Ooh Rick’s going to go out to a tent behind the Elks Club and show us what his “talent” is. Can’t wait.

That rookie in P2 looks unsure of the number of towels needed for the shower.

My man is sweating profusely…must have already been invited for the showers before practice ended.

Is this shaping up to be a latter-day version of Golden Boy, in which the protagonist had to choose between a career as a boxer or a violinist?
