Pelwecki must be thinking, “Gee, coach, I didn’t know I was going to carry the ball. The only thing I practiced was long pass plays.”

The way Gil is yelling, Sam Finn must already be on the field, but at what position? Fullback?

Gil will go back to the well and Pel-wacki will cough the ball up. Great coaching in crunch time give the ball to someone who has never carried it before!!!

    In all reality , P 1 why is an Oakwood player targeting # 24 of his own team ? Milford’s # 24 protects his family’s jewels .

P1- The aliens are back! Stimuli that is the stiffening of Oakwood.

P2- Fist Pump Family pensively awaits the outcome.

P3- Moose helps set up the play action pass for a converted Tight End to snag a Sluggo pass, dissecting Tod Andrews’ bending, not breaking Cover 2.

I’m spoiled, looking forward to Sunday’s strip.

P-1: R&W get a call from the comic censor for mentioning wood and stiffening in the same sentence.

    P-2: “Call for Phillip Mo-reese”

P-3: especially impressive since there are absolutely no Mudlarks blocking for him. However, we need a panel discussion: “Which three yards are big?” It was my impression they are all 3 feet in size.

Sam Finn’s father, Mickey, is often in a stupor. The only Marty Moon drinking buddy that has a pulse.

So let me get this straight. Moose spent all summer practicing catching passes. At least when The Tall Men weren’t wasting his practice time hitting on Heather. He may have had one-day taking handoffs but nothing recently, so his first play is a handoff with the game on the line? Makes sense.

Will Gil’s 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense work or will Moose have to get 4 somewhere along the line? Stay tuned!

Thank goodness for the good comments y’all come up with. That’s the only thing that still brings me here.

Unless it was 3rd down and 2, 3 yards is normally not “big”. But you know what is big? The guffaws you’ll generate reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp. Would you believe a belly laugh? How about a slight smirk?

In P1, who is the pathetic, tiny person trying to block for the running back, but all he’s doing is protecting his own crotch as he gets leveled? And is his torso in front of the running back, but his upper body behind the running back? How’d he do that?
