I’m going to guess that Milford is supposed to be scoring a touchdown there. What an epic failure by Gil that not one other lineman on that team could be taught to snap the ball. If they’re all that uncoordinated, this will be a long season.

I agree, Chip. SOMEBODY should be able to chew gum AND long snap at some point. Nowadays, with the rules of leaving the snapper alone, it’s not that often a snap gets botched. Even I could long snap but my punts were trash back in the day, maybe 30 yards beyond scrimmage, if that. Thank goodness, as a backup, I never had to embarrass myself on the field, as luck would have it. The kid better punt!

P1, But a mediocre storyline. . .

P2, Just snuck that pass in there under the tree branch.

P3, This running back must be pretty good since he’s not getting much help from his linemen.

Kaz is clearly coveting the Gil chair. He plans to sneak back in when Gil’s at lunch to lean back and spin and make trite pronouncements of his own.

P1 Love GI’s cup and the sony product placement. Can’t believe they got the football season started so early, I thought we would have to wait until at least mid-November for the first game. Why is Milford wearing their home jerseys for an away game. Oakwood prefers dark jerseys for their home games!!

Well if you check out the color version….I don’t know who’s wearing home and away. Milford is wearing their black jerseys with white pants (which is not normal) and Oakwood is wearing a putrid turquoise (I’m not searching back, but I doubt that’s their normal color.) Must be one of those special nights with throwback jerseys or whatever. Anything to sell more souvenirs.

P3- So Marty Moon shouldn’t worry himself with the QB play of Mike Filion. All that is required is a fundamental exchange to GilPa’s deep stable of RB’s. Looming question. After the game, celebrate at Copywrite Café or The Bucket? I’ll punt on both and slide on down to Speedco for $1 burritos and Hoo.

Man, Gil is waiting for something in P1 with that pose and that grin. Must be a traditional pregame good luck thing. I won’t go into detail here, but good thing we can’t see under the desk.

Okay, tomorrow we get to the second half, close game. Then maybe on Thursday Malouf shanks a punt late in the game, setting up Oakwood for the winning drive. Playoffs gone, all that’s left is the fight to come in second again.
