I am stunned. Stunned I say. My hopes weren’t high for this arc, but I was sure that Boyd’s teammates were humoring his hypnosis crap, and were going to call him out or ridicule him. But no, THEY ARE BUYING IT!!!!!? I thought the kids believing in the lucky peacock were dumb, but this group outdumbs them by a mile.
I’m also curious how Milford keeps winning when I see the way they carry the football. They must be fumbling the ball 20 times a game. This is what happens when the coaches disappear for a month or more. White Tevin holding the ball on the end, away from his side, you don’t even need to punch it for it to come loose. And the star running back, holds it like that, the middle of the ball? He’s going to fumble even if nobody touches him. I assume he’s still getting scouted, so I see a lot of scholarship offers getting rescinded.
And speaking of being rescinded, your membership in the Mopped Up Thorp Fan Club is at risk of being rescinded if you don’t read it daily!
Wait, Boyd’s hypnosis went horribly wrong and nobody even noticed. When Tevin “woke up”, he was all pumped up to beat Jefferson. But their next game was against New Thayer, and the one after that, Central. I think his short term memory is shot. Or would it be long term? Medium term?

Title town? The T-wing keeps rolling, the over was very good money. Hypno the choke away, one game at a time.
