In Milford, OH in week eleven (week one of the state playoffs), the Eagles are matched up with the Lebanon Warriors (can we say that these days with “Indians” banished to the ash heap of history?) AGAIN, as they avenge their week nine 24 – 20 road loss which relegated them to fourth in the Valley (Eastern Cincinnati Conference) with a 21 – 7 win…the Eagles will need more than hymothzement, real or imagined, to take down week twelve opponent Lakota West, who laid on a 35 -0 shutout in the Eagle’s nest in week two of the season as they prepare to meet at the Warriors AGAIN at a neutral site…no choking as the Eagles mantra is, “one down, one to go, on our way to 12 and 4!!!”

You wonder at what point Macy is going to snap and bark out “Whatever happens to me the day after graduation on forward is NONE OF THE OFFICE’S OR THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT’S G-D BUSINESS!

Just like Boyd, the writer learned everything he knows about hypnosis from YouTube™.

In Michigan, the Milford Mavericks’ playoff run came to a screeching halt (just like almost every Milford Mudlarks team that makes the playoffs) after just one game, getting blasted by East Lansing 27-0. But ending the regular season in a tie for second place warrants a parade and contract extension for the coach.

It’s a bit confusing that in yesterday’s strip, Tevin and his friend were standing with their food, and in this one they’ve sat down to eat… And in yesterday’s strip, a guy was talking to Boyd in the cafeteria about algebra tests and in this strip he’s still talking to Boyd in the cafeteria about algebra tests… And yet these two strips are NOT the same scene, but the set-up and character interactions are the same.

That’s a big mistake. Don’t make two strips so similar in setup if they’re supposed to be taking place at different days entirely.

“Do you think that maybe you got a B because this is the third year that you’ve taken the course? Dude, you must have learned something by now, or maybe Mr. Jones is just sick of seeing your face year after year and wants to get rid of you.”

Star tee shirts are very popular in Milford. Another chance for Chance to meet Gil.

It appears that Chance is starting to get blowtop mad in P3. Rip that speaker right off the cafeteria wall, Chance, and then storm into the office and demolish it!

Chance is having an affair with the school secretary, who has become very demanding.

And the stupidity continues. Can we move on to Kianna’s over commitment to sports activities? That had a least a little promise for being interesting or at least realistic. Or is that just going to be a minor subplot that will be addressed in maybe 3 more whole panels this season?

And what’s the deal with the intercom lady? That’s not very professional. She’s seems as pissed off as I am about this hypnotism crap. I guess she’s right to be mad, I mean, Chance getting recruitment letters forcing her to call him to the office several times. Totally overworked.

And speaking of overworked, there are a couple of topics that have been totally overworked in today’s Mopped Up Thorp. And probably will continue to be so.

Is anyone else on pins and needles waiting for a follow up on Tevin’s weekly date night with his mom? No, just me?

So when Chance’s arms are raised his hair go straight up and when his arms are down his hair goes down as well? Or is that a different character?
