so you lost a $10 bet. Plus the $2 convenience fee for me placing the bet. Plus Gordon’s $2 collection fee. Plus 2 weeks interest at 10% a week, that’ll be $16. Pranit has the makings of a politician
“I feel bad for you.” “How bad?” “Sorry, man.” “How sorry?” Quit being coy Pranit and just get to the point!
Something about P1 bothers me. It appears they’re on a landing outside that door that leads to stairs. But they’re walking sideways on it despite the fact they just came out that door, which already closed. And don’t tell me they came down a hallway, because there is nothing to the left of them except a wall and a drop to the first floor.
And speaking of drops, today’s Mopped Up Thorp has just dropped.
So, if Gordon agrees to this, what do we have to look forward to? Gordon bullying students for money. Eventually an adult miraculously notices the shaking down that’s happening. Gordon gets expelled. Pranit’s gambling and bookie business is exposed. He gets expelled. Half the student body that’s gambling gets expelled or at least detention. The basketball team is devastated. Second place in The Valley? Not a chance.
Gordon will probably go for it. After all, he joined the basketball team because Gil basically put an ad in the newspaper asking for an enforcer on the court.

“No, not like in a movie. Like in a comic strip. A badly written, implausibly plotted, poorly paced comic strip.”

Besides pretty much repeating yesterday’s strip, today we see Pranit defying gravity in p1. What on earth is he doing?

Pranit doesn’t have any funds to pay this guy as is.

He should be charging vig. Then he could pay the muscle with a percentage of that, and still make a profit.
