Yes, we seem to have entered the dreaded realm of Soap Operas.

So wherever they are, far away from Milford and wherever Emmett lives, it necessitates a plane flight for Gil. Emmett either flew there himself or drove I’d assume. Obviously he has plans on how to get home, but Gil is like, “Hey, want me to fly you somewhere? Just leave your car here, or throw away the tickets you purchased.” But Emmett doesn’t have time for that, it’s obviously his league bowling night based on his shirt. And speaking of bowling, it’s possible that today’s Mopped Up Thorp will bowl you away. Not likely, but you never know.
