P1 “Atazhoon-heit! And One! I sneeze in your general direction.”
P2 Ryan Reynolds sneaks in to catch the game (but why?), disguised as a cheap imitation Marty Moon (but why), as he subtly points to himself so as to say, “look at me, don’t look at me.” In the meantime Fistpump Man sends one straight at us, hiding in plain sight, with the masses never realizing the glimpse into his true identity that they have jus been given.
P3 Fistpump family goes berzerk as Emmett experiences ECS (exploding cheek syndrome) while they all realize Cami has the killer instinct coaching mentality that might finally lead Milford to the long denied promise land of second in the Valley.
Today is a good day. A clear headed Marty calling a Mudlark victory, Fistpump Family doing what they do best and from all her yelling instructions, Cami needs those three RIIIII-COLAS Kaz left in his desk drawer.
…and we have a new record! Milford’s 100 points is the most ever by a Mudlarks basketball team, surpassing the 98 scored in the 1966 state finals against Denville!
Wait a minute. New Britain didn’t even PLAY Milford! https://stats.ciacsports.com/cgi-bin/schedule-2223.cgi?school=NewBritain&sport=boys-basketball&levels=V&combine_time_results=1&show_bus_info=1&site=&starttoday=&today=&startmonth=&startday=&startyear=&endmonth=&endday=&endyear=&type=Game%5EScrimmage%5EPostseason
The 150 combined points in a 32-minute game is a crazy amount of offense. New Britain’s 50 points is actually a pretty good bit of offense in and of itself. Not many high school teams will ever reach the 100-point mark. Those that do will usually benefit from a lot of live ball turnovers, but there couldn’t have been too many of those if NB managed to score 50. The score is unbelievable in two senses of the word.
Assuming this was a road game, the Mudlarks went to Syracuse for their previous game, then moved on to New Britain, Connecticut for this one. How do these kids keep up with their studies on these long road trips? And speaking of trips, it’s a short trip to today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

I hope she said that when the score was 25-2, not near the end at 95-47 or so. But if anyone can blow a big 4th q lead, it’s the Bulls.

Just on shooter on the opposing team hitting outside 3s and that lead can disappear quickly..

Are Taze & Cami supposed to be coaches or are they just zealous fans like fist-pump and sign-man?

Geez New Britain, I lost out bigtime to Vito from Goshen with that flat performance.

and thus, Henry pays tribute to the movie classic scene from “Flubber”.

I’m surprised Henry didn’t post the final score 100-50 in overtime, just to get some people going crazy…

It’s starting to look like the Mudlarks will be State Champions in Henry’s first year. But where will he go from there?

I think Coach Hairy might be right hating Gil if he runs up the score on opposing teams like that.

Is that Marty? How many HS teams have regular games on the radio?

P1- Due to budget cuts they had to use a fishing net.
P2- This game is so physical even Marty is wearing a mouth guard.
P3- 100 pionts! And Fistpump man starts the celebration for the free tacos.

With a 50 point win, I just hope Gil emptied the bench and let the Frosh play the fourth quarter.

That should serve as a lesson to New Britain not to take just 5 players on a road game, 2 of whom wind up fouling out.
