I can’t remember seeing hockey skates with pointed ends… I guess it might be handy in a hockey fight… Which is why hockey skates have rounded ends – in my limited experience with the game.
I find the guaranteed way to more playing time is committing battery against the coach. Granted, you’ll be playing in the juvenile detention center, league, but you’ll be playing.
Whigham must have been in a hurry for today’s strip. He only needed to draw two panels. And other than spending some time on drawing skates, not much else as he just needed to scribble out Gil and Cami in P1. And speaking of spending time, you should be spending time with Mopped Up Thorp right about now.
