Poor little love-lorn Chubb. What a process it is for someone approaching adolescence to go from thinking that one-sided attraction automatically means that the other person will reciprocate, to realizing there is much more to the whole thing.
The first thing that crossed my mind re the graffiti was to see if there was some sort of bravery award for Jason. No, Ottod, there is no ghost-writing going on, I am simply a lifetime (more than the alloted threescore and ten) fan of Meggsie. It is both a source of wonder to me how cartoonists are able to think up ideas day after day to delight us, and a welcome circuit breaker right now to put something in ‘comments’.
Change of subject folks. For at least a week, whenever I logged onto Gocomics some commercial or other has been declaring I am the lucky 999,999 person to visit their site and am eligible for a prize. Not a winner mind you, just eligible to be one LOL. I log on maybe 3 times a day and never visit their site - can’t even remember what it is but I guess I am still the lucky 999,999 to 1,000,043 persons. Just hope they have enough prizes to go around.
Yesterday another said I was the lucky 1,000,000th visitor. Gosh, I’m overwhelmed. In spite of what they say I have NEVER visited these sites and therefore have no way of telling them their counters must be broken.
Am arranging for a dumpster to receive the prizes as they turn up in the post.
