Ottod: I have been a rested since I retired in 2005 but don’t need a cell phone either.
It seems the subject of the graffiti was really the cordless phone that seems to be an obligatory part of any home landline phone deal nowadays. We managed without them from the time Alexander Bell used the first phone to ask his assistant to come into the room but now they seem essential.

As for cell phones, well, I do not feel inclined to either super-glue one to my left ear or have a vacuum inside my head to suck one onto it. The feeling is that the cost of moccasins and track suit pants as the uniform required when one phones home about the cost of various cornflakes in the supermarket is equally non-essential.

Swore I’d never get a cell phone, but I did, but it doesn’t hang from my ear, and I don’t use it while I drive, I pull over,and only then if it’s truly important, otherwise it can wait!
