When i was a kid in Ontario Canada our provincial lottery had a great deal. You could take a number (I’ve forgotten how many you needed) of losing lotto tickets to book store and the store would give you a discount on any book by a Canadian author. Thanks to that deal I had a lot of books by Farley Mowat, Gregory Clark, and other 70’s Canadian authors.

did you have to ask, Ginger, what you get if you lose from a lottery ticket?

Mum, all you’ve really lost is the amount paid for that ticket. No more than that.
