I have a magnet which is supposedly capable of lifting a 150 pound weight. I’ve never tested it, but I did get it stuck on a piece of flat steel plate and there wasn’t any way I could pull it straight up and off. I wound up sliding it to the edge of the plate and off.
Those brass keys wouldn’t be attracted to a magnet. The warded lock key shown in the matchbox back in mid-November might, since they were usually made of steel.
