We have a side comment again after none yesterday. The obvious flaw in the comment’s logic is that things which are done on purpose can still lead to accidents.
I have never traveled in the land of “Whiplash” and “Prisoner”, but in my experience in the USA, Apple Maps is as good as any other GPS package in most ways, and better than most in many ways. It’s true that Apple Maps, when new (twelve years ago), had a great many glitches, but I use it now on a daily basis.
