The only possible reason to advertise a prescription drug on TV is to reach the hypochondriac market.

No drugs should be advertised on tv unless it can be bought over the counter.

They advertise the $300 a week pill on TV because they want you to upgraded to the $1200 a week pill. Neither are on your prescription plan because they have too many black box side effects and have no evidence of working.

No! Not that one! This one! It’s name is cooler! It’s weird to me that drugs have a technical name and a brand name, and neither one of them make any sense. Since the pharm company had to make up a name for the compound, why not just call it the brand name? They’re both gibberish!

Well, Ok; but you’re going to get 12 pages of disclaimer with it.

Remember the ads urging foks to “ask for the purple pill” without even a hint of what the pill is supposed to cure?

Don’t overdose on them. They’ll put hair on your chest and make your nipples hard.
