My last interview, the interviewer let slip with this gem: Why do you want a position requiring a minimum of only 2-years of experience when you have, like, 40 years.
It may not pay as well as my previous work but it is definitely interesting. We’ll see what happens in the next round of interviews (yes, I passed to round 2).

sadly they will take the two 30 year olds. It still might be less expensive for them if this 60 year old has tons of experience.

heh. I’m 75. I suppose I could say that she’d get three 25-year-olds for the price of two. (After all, I’m more expensive than a 25-year-old…)
