Actually, I happily pay my taxes because I live in a society, and my contribution to it matters. Without it, we fall into chaos.

I like civilization. I like roads, water, sewer systems, police and firefighters, good schools, free libraries, etc. My taxes pay for that. If you don’t like taxes then you are free to move to Somalia.
