So of all the fabulous foods in Cairo, she picks bananas.

So she finally got across the street to “old Cairo” and it’s a banana stand.

…….And she talks to a dog?

She’s asking a dog if she is right about something she only thought. IF the dog could read her mind, IF the dog spoke English (or read English) and IF the dog could understand.
