I read about some disturbing things that were done to the mummies that were discovered in the late 1800’s yesterday. For one, they were sold on the streets to anyone. Owning one became somewhat of a fad for the wealthy. People started to grind them up for consumption for some ‘medicinal’ reasons.. and it gets worse even still, horrifying!
