Will this winter ever end?

From the coldest part of the frozen north comes the cry of the Chi Chi bird.————Chi Chi Christ it’s cold up here!

He’s literally freezing his tail off.

Of course Gray.

@mrs1wingI told an aunt, who lives in Germany, that in northeast US it is the winter that doesn’t end.She said, in Europe it is the winter that never came.

Funny thing is that the beautiful bird song we hear is usually one bird telling another to get the blankety-blank away from my nest!

IT’S THE ARTIC VORTEX…..AHHHHHHHHHHH!

JanCinLV: Not just nest, but also feeding grounds..mastersrain: They never leave north Texas, but we have ice storms just the same.

“The Robins have been out for several weeks here in southern Kentucky, as well as the Cardinals, and many other birds.”………………………………………………………..We don’t ever have very many robins here in Northeast Georgia, but we have more than our share of cardinals year round. Can’t wait to hear the Carolina wrens singing!

I won’t believe it is spring until the mockingbirds combine coloratura singing and aerobatics simultaneously under a full moon.
