My favorite was a deed for one square inch of Yukon Gold country land for a number of Quaker Oats boxtops. I believe I lost the deed to back taxes…..

Back then, they didn’t try to even make you think it was healthy; a lot of them started with the name Sugar; like Sugar Pops , Sugar Smacks, Sugar Frosted Flakes,Sugar Krinkles, Sugar Smiles. The only reason we didn’t become diabetic was likely do to running around outside all day.

As for me, I can’t believe they even still make this stuff. Kids still go up and down the aisle with their parents in tow screaming they want this or that sugar filled cereal. My friend buys it for her husband (the man I caregive for) much to my objections. She doesn’t seem to care that she’s enabling him to continue to eat poorly and remain un-healthy. He won’t go anywhere near a store to shop for groceries. If it were me I’d just buy him something more healthy and tell him if he doesn’t like it he can go get what he wants himself.

I occasionally get a little something from Archie Mcphees in Seattle. All those strange little toys you remember from childhood. https://mcphee.com/
