    back in 1960 I learned a little about anatomical differences from my older sister’s dolls. Very little.

    Of course, Ken was then considered an “action figure” instead of a doll (Ken is/was a doll). Once a boy touched any doll, it immediately became an action figure. Girls didn’t need to rename toy trucks or anything.

    Pedantic thought here – Barbie was introduced in 1959, so it was the 55th Anniversary if this strip first ran in 2014, per the date notation. Oh well.
