Back in the early 1980’s was attending the opera Der Fledermaus (The Bat) in Batts Hall on the UT Austin campus, when a bat started flying around the stage at a most appropriate time!
We need to remember that with sonar and self defense, they are mostly interested in getting out of the building and back to where the night flying bugs might be found.
Meh. We have a very black, floofy, Norwegian Forest cat and a mostly black tuxedo. On movie nights it is scary as heck when those eyes are peering at you from the bottom of the abyss.
