I had a hip replacement just over 4 years ago. I’m not sorry that I had it done, because I was in so much pain before. However, I went into it expecting that everything would be totally back to normal afterwards, and it just isn’t, even though I did a whole hour of PT every single day for the first year.

I still have all my “original parts”- except for a few dental implants.
Oh, and there was that one encounter with the UFO and its “probe”. That doesn’t count – right? Right?

Medical science does amazing things, alright. One slip and fall on the ice can undo them.

I have an Ottobock with 4 microprocessors. I can go bicycle riding and not use the recumbent.
