Hubby still uses seasonal studded snow tires.

And I go all the way back to Sand Tread winter tires.

I remember my Dad putting CHAINS on the tires before there were “snow tires”.

Guy was driving a company car and had it studded during an unexpected snowstorm. He put the cost on his expense account and listed it as “stud service for company car”…

I still put them on my car in the winter. All seasons are nice but in northern New England, they don’t cut it some days.

Yup. On Vancouver Island they are necessary for winter time. The big step for us was buying wheels for them the second year. Changing fees are crazy.

I can’t walk past the stud finders in Home Depot, the noise is deafening.

In some places, studs are banned because they chew up the asphalt.
