I’ve been only called once, but I don’t watch Law & Order.

You want to get excused tell them you are addicted to crime shows.

It has been over 30 years since I was called for jury duty.

I’ve been called several times. For most of them, I just sat around in a waiting room for several hours before they told me I could go. Once I made it as far as the selection process for a particular case, but they didn’t take me.

I’d find it interesting to be on an actual case, and I hope I’d do my best, but I don’t really want to decide someone’s fate.

All my life, I never was called for jury duty, until a year ago. When I went on-line to acknowledge receipt of the summons, I was excused because of my age…

Those are the people they don’t want, Gray. And Mrs. G, when they find out you are a teacher they will excuse you as well. They hate people who have critical thinking skills.
