Yes, they do. I’ve seen it.
They’ve got all day, and not much else to do.I’ve also seen blue jays mimic the cry of the red tailed hawk to throw a scare into the squirrels, so they do get some of their own back.
I don’t know about squirrels but I know of one cat that used to tease my German Shepherd…till one day it wasn’t fast enough….
