She may know of “IT” without having seen it. I know the plot lines to a great many movies without having seen them personally. Did this when I was a kid, too: I knew the plot (and ending) to “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane” but never saw it til I was in my twenties; the Late Show was after my elementary school bedtime.
