Heart: hey, mom! we're all out of my favorite "peaches n strawberry cream" shampoo! Mom: oh, I forgot to get more. Just use the bar soap for today. Heart: Ok. But let's keep it out of the press!
Actually, the best compliments I got on my hair was the day I used a bar of Ivory soap for shampoo and Mane ‘n’ Tail (horse) conditioner straight from the vet store – was helping out at a friend’s stable for the day but was going out that night and that’s all she had available for the post-stable shower. Not worth driving 60 minutes each way to home and back for a forgotten pack of toiletries when I had the dress with me and the restaurant was in her town.
I was out shopping with my daughter not long ago and we were in the bath products. Upon seeing some bar soap my daughter cried out excitedly “Mom, they now come out like this and not in a bottle!”

FROM YESTERDAY:
“It’s been a long while since we seen Heart’s true hair form.”-Which if they were covered over her eyes makes her looklike Eva.

Heaven forbid Heart that you would be known of using a bar of soap that actually cleanse the skin.

Old timers may remember there was a time when only women used shampoo. Men used soap.
I remember some educational TV show where they recomended the use of neutral soap to take care of hair and adviced against the use of shampoo.
Never worked for me, hair gets all stiff.

I’ve never paid much attention to bubble bath scents. Is it safe to assume that every flavour of oatmeal has a corresponding bubble bath type?
