What a great thought. But sad for people who having a tough time, like the Syrians who left their homes because of terrorism and fear and are homeless and not being helped by countries who are affraid of them.
Then that person’s life is still another’s fairy tale, and that persons…? At some point I think you reach the people whose lives really are bad.But never mind logic. Most of us probably do okay. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
This sentiment was brought home especially hard this past summer when a co-worker went to southern Africa and brought back pictures and stories of countless families that had no homes, one set of clothes, often no shoes, just each other. They slept in the open in large groups, rain or shine, shared one merger meal daily, never ate meat as there is none to be had, and are happy and thankful for the little they have. It is rare to have an education beyond the 3rd grade. Many never went to school. I am extremely thankful for everything I have and everyone in my life. Thanksgiving Blessings to all.
I thought about printing out this strip and showing it to my wife, but she’d still bitch about what we don’t have. I grew up quite poor, but we still gave thanx for what we had.

Glad I’ve got a roof over my head (leaks & all) and pasta in the cupboard.
